Amira Russell is a recent graduate of Spelman College with a B.A. in Comparative Women’s Studies. Rooted in her Black feminist lens, she brought a commitment to storytelling that was both inclusive and innovative across all of her creative work.
She founded The SecondHand Friends Club in 2022, blending her passion for thrift and design with community building, and went on to gain professional experience in the DEI space with Richemont Americas and Victoria’s Secret & Co. Her love for digital storytelling led her to create content as a brand ambassador for Depop and Savage X Fenty, and later as a Social Media Intern at Tory Burch, where her work reached thousands and drove measurable engagement growth.
Recognized for her impact, Amira received multiple honors, including Richemont’s “Social Media Star” Award, RAISEfashion’s “Day in the Life” Contest Award, and the Savage X Fenty “Most Content Posted” End of Semester Award.
